Impact DuPage Priorities 2022 to 2025
Data from the Forces of Change Assessment, Landscape Review, Local System Assessment, and Community Profile were used to identify strategic issues that must be addressed in order for Impact DuPage to achieve its vision of "working to create a shared understanding of community needs, priorities, and disparities, then using that knowledge to propel actions that improve the well-being of the DuPage County community." This prioritization process was achieved through two meetings of the Impact DuPage Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee identified Substance Use and Mental Health and Prevention and Management of Serious Illness as the two strategic issues to prioritize in 2022 to 2025. In addition to both priority areas, additional focus will be placed on achieving equity and person-centered care delivery. These are complex issues, affected by many factors and requiring the collective impact of different strategies and partners.
Below are links to three-year action plans, developed by partner coalitions and adopted by Impact DuPage. These partner coalitions are county-wide, multi-sector, and have missions to address the needs identified in the multi-pronged community assessment. However, the action plans are not exhaustive of all efforts taking place in each priority area. In addition to the collective strategies of each coalition, many organizations have implemented their own strategies to address these needs.
How do we strengthen prevention and treatment of behavioral health issues for residents of DuPage County?
How do we build a person-centered model of healthcare that is efficient, effective, equitable and creates meaningful access to care for all and demonstrably improves health status?
